Today, cold extrusion is an important
process for the production of close to shape parts in large quantities.
The force-displacement-characteristics, the high working capacity and versatility
of the hydraulic press are suited particularly to the cold forming process.
Construction features:
- Rigid press frame, depending on the
press size and the application may be multi or single piece.
- Press head with integrated oil reservoir
with head cover to accommodate the compact press drive
- High pressing speeds to minimise the
load on the die and punch due to heating
- Full press force is available over
the entire stroke at maximum speed
- Depending on the press size and the
speed one or more variable delivery axial piston pumps are mounted on the
head
- Forged press cylinder and piston with
honed or ground surfaces
- Long ram guides infinitely adjustable
by taper gibs
- Programmable control system with operator
guidance, product data administration and modem for remote diagnostics
Capacities:
Press forces from 2.500 to 31.500 kN
